World’s Largest Airport Begins Operations
Dubai's second airport Al Maktoum International is launching it's freighter operations on 27 June. The airport, based in Jebel Ali, is eventually on target to be the world's largest airport, when it becomes fully operational in 2020, with 5 runways and a capacity for 160 million passengers.
Emirates Announce Healthy Profits
Dubai's world famous airline, Emirates, has just announced a 248% increase in net profits. The airline has also become the first Middle Eastern airline to offer its customers the facility to organise visas to Dubai through its website.
